What are our criteria for WordPress plugins choices?
First of all, there are no absolutes here. Every web site is different and we don’t lock into a WordPress plugin unless we absolutely know it will do what we need it to do. But we have strong preferences for us for WordPress plugins when all other things are equal:
- It must be maintained and updated when needed by the plugin author.
- We prefer the plugin to have a revenue stream if at all possible.
- When possible, we like it to be popular in use and well received.
