Dashboards are becoming repositories of data for WordPress sites

Dashboards are becoming references of repositories of data for WordPress sites.  Items such as:

Site History
Email Logging
Analytics Stats
Online Transactions
Email Form Usage
Wordfence data
Recent logins

All this means more processing on the sites, and more storage on the sites.  It means more pressure for other plugins to do the same thing, which is why we have seen this growth of dashboard additions listed above.  And that pressure leads to a few other things:

Very crowded WordPress dashboards
Increasing costs in plugin subscriptions AND hosting

Do not expect this to change any time soon.
